Support

The staff at Cherry Trees are aware of the many forms of communication that children use including PECS/Makaton. See The Children’s Guide for further details.

You and your child will be allocated a named ‘key worker’ who will keep in regular contact with you. They will also attend your child’s bi-annual care plan review with yourself and other agencies such as school or social services.

Cherry Trees hosts a parents’ coffee morning on a regular basis, giving parents the opportunity to meet staff and other like-minded parents in a relaxed setting. Guest speakers on a variety of issues such as Transition, Help in the Home, Infection Control can be invited at the request of parents.
