Cherry Trees Children

We have no set criteria for deciding which children can attend Cherry Trees other than they have moderate to severe disabilities and that we will be able to meet their needs when they stay with us.

How to apply

In the first instance, contact our Head of Care on
01483 222506 or e-mail us at care@cherry-trees.co.uk to arrange an appointment to visit Cherry Trees to see if we can help your family. Following this visit, should you wish to apply for a place for your child, simply complete the application form.

What happens next?

Once we have received your child’s application form your child’s first visit will be a ‘tea visit’ (2hrs) which will give them a chance to look around, meet staff and other children. On this first visit parents generally stay with their child for a short while to allow then to settle and to offer any vital information to staff.

At Cherry Trees we appreciate that no child is the same and therefore we do not have a set induction programme; we work closely with parents on visit progress to assess when their child is ready for their first overnight stay.
NO VISIT IS TOO SHORT OR TOO LONG.
